1) How much will my website cost?

Prices are based mainly on the following variables: number of concept designs, amount of revisions, new logo creation, number of pages, custom functions and time limits.

2) How can I pay for my website/print materials and what are your payment terms?

You can pay for your items with check or credit cards via paypal (paypal fees apply). We generally expect 50% down and the rest upon completion of the project.

3) Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, you get 1 free 60 min phone consultation. After that all phone communications are billed with $0.50 per min fee. We highly encourage communication by email. This way all your changes are already in writing and there's no confusion.

4) Do you host websites? If so, how many emails addresses can I get?

Yes, for $50 per year we'll host your website and you get as many email addresses as your heart desires.

5) Why doesn't my page show up #1 on Google?

Unless you're in a very specific field your website probably won't be on the 1st page of Google with general keyword searches. We do offer web optimization services. In the world of Google (like advertising) the more you want to spend the more we can do to try to get your product to the top spot.

6) Who are you guys?

We're nerds who love getting to the bottom of why products/services make people feel good enough to buy them. We hold degrees from Michigan State University. English, marketing, design, computer science, art history and music were the main subjects of study. Also, we love hot jazz, gypsy jazz and rock and roll from the 1960s.

7) How long does it take to build a website?

It all depends on how complex your website is. A simple site could take a week. A more complex site with many pages or flash animations could take months. Also it depends on how quickly we receive information from you like photographs, content, copy and changes.

8) What's the difference between a flash and an html based site?

The majority of sites you see online (like Google etc) are html based. Websites built with flash are animations. In our opinion HTML sites are superior. HTML based sites load faster, have higher search engine rankings, and are far more cost efficient. We do favor putting a few flash details in here and there to jazz it up a bit.

9) I want a really long flash intro for my site. Is this a good thing?

Absolutely it ISN'T a good thing. When search engines read your page they only read page #1 of it. Flash provides no readable content so it's a search engine optimization killer. Not only that but it's the equivalent of me telling you that we're going to the grocery store but first we must wait outside the grocery store for 10 minutes while a mime tells us about all the products inside. Would you like that?! Your customers won't either. Beyond SEO no one who has an Iphone or Ipad will be able to see your website because Iphones and Ipads don't support Flash. Why shoot yourself in the foot? Don't believe us? Here, read what other designers are saying about Flash.

10) How can I get the most bang for my buck with you guys?
